# About Ration

Ration is a native macOS menu-bar app that shows how much of your Claude, ChatGPT (Codex) and Cursor allowance you have used, when each window resets, and warns you before you are blocked.

## Why it exists

AI subscriptions meter you in rolling windows that you only discover when you hit them. The numbers exist, but they sit behind each provider's settings page. Ration puts them where you can see them all day, for every account you pay for, and keeps a local history so you can tell whether a plan is the right size.

## Who makes it

Ration is built and published by [IZZY.Agency](https://izzy.agency). Releases are signed with the studio's Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

The app is open source under the MIT license. The code, every release and the issue tracker live at [github.com/IZZY-Agency/ration](https://github.com/IZZY-Agency/ration); each release there is the exact tree the shipped build was made from, so the privacy claims on this site can be checked line by line.
